The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you. - B.B. King. The value of education is personal for every learner. Each experience is a memory to be used in the pursuit of life-long learning. My goal as an educator is to teach students how to become life-long, independent learners. I believe that the day is not complete if a person has not learned at least one new thing, small or large, that day. School is meant to be a purposeful and fulfilling experience for learners and educators based on academic and personal goals. I strive to show my students the importance of setting and succeeding at meeting those goals. My goal for my classroom is to provide a learner-centered environment that is structured and motivated toward the future success of every student. Using technology and differentiated materials that provide students experiences they can draw from for years to come.
