I currently teach in a first grade classroom. My school has three first grade classrooms and we all collaborate together to provide the best education for our students. My community is known for its high poverty rate, and my school is no different. We know that many students are coming in below grade level and we strive to get students to make significant growth in reading and math. We do whatever possible to ensure that all students reach grade level expectations. My students work so hard each and every day and overcome so many obstacles in their way to show so much growth in all areas.

About my class
