My students need to be able to master all math skills by the end of their fourth grade year. We spend several weeks learning fractions and decimals. From making equivalent fractions to simplifying, my students learn best by using manipulatives. I have chosen AKJ Education Fraction and Decimal Tiles in Trays that are double-sided so that this learning tool can be used throughout both the fraction and decimal unit. Being able to manipulate tools, when new skills are introduced, allows students to have ownership in their education!
