When students gather up for circle time, a carpet in the destination spot can serve as a great anchor. Students won’t question where to sit, or spread out very far, because the rug becomes the destination and the edges of the rug serve as a defined space for them to sit. Also, our preschoolers learn through play, most of the time children like to work together in groups by working on different activities such as large group, and free choice time, the carpet will make it easier for the students to gather and work together in a safe and healthy environment
