My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy. I read on the carpet to them daily. I want all of my kids to fall in love with reading. I'm looking to keep my library updated with books that the kids enjoy and will want to read whenever they can. Sometimes all a student needs is to get lost in a good book that they can escape in or relate to. These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My students are so excited to read and thankful when new books arrive in the library. They end up loving the books so much, they often read them over and over again. Books foster creativity and help students learn how to socially respond to others. They also grow in their language and communication skills. I want each of my students to never lose their love for reading or learning.
