My students are an excellent bunch who pour their little hearts into learning to read. However, our class started this year with no class sets of reading books. Whenever we can, we try to borrow from other classes or schools, but they have either lost everything in the flood or they don't have enough to spare. My students are gifted, and like all of the other students they deserve to reach their maximum potential. They need the books for guided reading lessons and independent reading activities. They would learn so much during small group lessons and their learning center time.

About my class
