Understanding that every student learns in his or her own unique way is what fuels my desire to provide a variety of activities to my students while we study animal and plant life cycles. The Life Cycle Book Set will allow students to research our topics while combining the subjects of reading and science; the Life Cycle Models will allow visual learners to see each individual stage of the cycle; and the Mealworm Study Kit will bring our project to life in a controlled environment. Traditionally science has been pushed to the back burner to make more time for reading and math; but in our school, we are embracing the benefits of incorporating the study of science into everyday learning.
