Every day I wake up and think "I am the luckiest person in the world" because I love my job. I get to teach a diverse group of students with varied backgrounds and personal challenges. I teach kindergarten art at a school with kids K-8. It is difficult to provide all of the materials for the students that they need- there are just too many students at different levels to be able to personally provide exactly what each student needs. I think it is important to challenge my students and give them options that can not only teach them, but can make them feel good about experiencing something new and something they didn't expect they could do.
