In order to foster a love of reading in our early childhood students, our school has adopted a reader's workshop model, giving students the power to choose their own books. In order to effectively manage and maintain a classroom library for 20+ students, and organization system is essential. This mobile library will provide my students the opportunity to select multiple books of their own interests. With this library, I will be able to organize and display classroom books by topic and theme, student interests, academic level, and explicit literacy skills being practice. Students would be able to browse through the organized book boxes and select books to keep in their personal book bags to use throughout the week.
