Giving low-income students access to new technology is an investment in our future. We need four Chromebooks and computer mice. My students will be conducting both individual and collaborative group research projects. Our projects will be centered around the weekly reading units. Students will not only be building writing, research skills but also building and expanding their reading skills. They'll be assigned topics to research and then conference with the teacher one-on-one to edit and revise their papers. Students will save and email their final draft to me for grading. This project will help students gain confidence in their writing and research abilities through the use of technology.
