These materials will help to support student's learning through hands on activities and exploration in STEM and ELA. I have requested the STEM Bundle to connect engineering activities to fairy tale stories. Students will be able to solve the problems from these fairy tales and create real world solutions using this set. I have also requested the Phonemic Awareness Instant Learning Center and the Classroom Magnetic Letters to bring kinesthetic literacy activities to my students. This will especially benefit many of my ELL students. Being hands on allows students to be engaged and invested in their learning and make concrete connections to their learning. In a world where critical thinking and problem solving skills are invaluable, it is crucial we allow children the opportunity to engage in these unique exploration activities.
