Tabletop easels are great for both art-making and art displays. Special attention is given to art that is placed on an easel. Even a small tabletop easel brings a level of respect to its art, which transcends our usual tape-on-cinderblock display option. Relief sculptures, ceramic tile pieces and canvas boards need an elegant display solution that a tabletop easel can easily provide. A set of easels can make a small student art show in the cafeteria instantly look like a gallery. Since my students are willing to put forth effort, express their ideas and follow classroom procedures regularly, it behooves me to honor and celebrate their work. To move from painting on a table to painting on an easel would make my students feel like Bob Ross, whom they truly admire and talk about often! As an artist myself, I understand that materials that feel professional can be inspiring. My job is to teach, inspire and nurture students' creativity. With donations, inspiration can come from simple, yet special materials like tabletop easels.
