With the ability to turn my classroom into a flexible seating classroom, it will allow students to move as they learn! A large majority of my students are ADHD, and paying attention is hard when all they want to do is move around! When students are able to move around, it increases their engagement level. I have a few pillows and one bean bag in my room now, and my students fight over who gets to sit there. This project will give more students the opportunity for flexible seating. The bouncy bands attach to the desks and allow students to move without distracting their neighbor. This will be particularly helpful for students who have the constant need to move around. The inflatable stability pads and the soft seats will be used for sitting on the floor around the room. When we break off into small groups, often times students become really uncomfortable on the hard floor. The inflatable stability pads and soft seats would allow students the option to sit on the floor throughout the classroom without sacrificing comfort. Students
