What it really comes down at the end of the school day is, are the students prepared to learn in the classroom? When the students go home, pencils and highlighters are the least of their problems due to a variety of life challenges they have to endure. Worrying them about bringing in the materials is something that I do not want to do; I want to be able provide them the proper materials to learn and become successful while being in my class.
