My students love to learn and come to school, yet many have deficiencies or need additional support to reach grade-level content. They need additional assistance in reading skills and learn best using hands-on methods. I love my kids and hope to give them the best education any student could have! The use of hands on phonics activities in makes learning memorable and fun. Students can remember the different phonics rules and sounds in our language by using them in multiple ways and in different scenarios. Most of my k-3rd grade special education students have gaps in their phonics knowledge that will hinder them in the years to follow if not mastered now. They need to master phonics skills in order to decode words and become fluent readers. It is brain-based to help students learn and remember the sounds in the English language.
