All of these resources will provide my students the necessary hands-on experiences to build their number sense and problem solving skills. Students will use the manipulatives to build their understanding of the 3rd Grade OA and NBT standards. 3.OA.1-3 and NBT. 1-3 Being able to see how problems can be solved concretely, students will be able to transfer their knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to show representations in words and number sentences of their work. Using the manipulatives will allow students to engage in their learning and take ownership when they explain how they can model with mathematics.
