My class is a vivacious group of kids who enjoy coming to school and learning. They are excited to see what our lessons bring and when they get into a good book, they don't want to put it down. My school is a Title 1 school. This means that majority of our students are on free or reduced meals. My fourth grade class loves to learn and to read, but lack the supplies to do this at home or away from a classroom atmosphere. Most do not have the opportunity to experience things first hand and reading about them is the next best thing. These projects are a great asset to my classroom to give my students the opportunity to explore the world and our history by adding these supplies it enhances their learning environment.
