The supplies that I am requesting for my students will help them greatly improve their gross motor strength, independence with dressing, handwriting skills and increase their attention to tasks. The scooter boards will help my students' increase bilateral coordination, core strength and proprioception (awareness in space). The zipper and button vest will help students' with the skills necessary for independence in dressing. The slant board will help improve their strength needed for writing and coloring. The bitty bottoms will give my students vestibular, proprioceptive and tactile input to increase their attention in the classroom and help improve my students learning by decreasing behaviors as well.
