The items in this project will help my students learn by giving them the tools to focus and manage their stress during this crazy pandemic. I have added tools for my students to alleviate stress and focus while allowing for physical movement. This will help all different kinds of learners. The Rug is a safe place for students to meet with me during guided reading in a less stressful environment. The manipulatives will help all students focus, especially those with special needs. This is a Title I school and my grade level has many children who need assistance. As a new teacher this year I have a benefit of teaching the children that I student taught last year. I have watched them grow and have a great idea of what tools they need to be successful.
