These materials will foster creativity and critical thinking skills in my students across subject areas. Students will have the opportunity to problem solve, work socially with their peers and enhance their learning through the use of a variety of hands on materials. The interactive centers will give students ownership of their learning while fostering a deeper understanding of math and reading concepts. Building tools, such as Legos, Picasso Tiles and gears will enhance my students' math skills and give them opportunities to engage in STEM activities while letter tiles, story cubes and reading rods will encourage deeper understanding of language arts. These centers will greatly increase students' opportunities for enrichment, problem solving and social learning.
