The kindergarten children whom I teach take such pride in learning and being part of their school community. However, the school in which I teach, is an inner city school with limited resources. My classroom is housed in a trailer due to overcrowding in the neighborhood schools. Because of severe budget cuts in the city school system, my students have limited access to important educational resources. I am hoping that with the support of donors my students can have increased opportunities for success while receiving a quality public education.
