Our High School is lacking basic technology tools necessary to educate and prepare students for the 21st century workplace. Our community is challenged both economically and socially. We are a large school in which a large percentage of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Although parental participation is high, financial resources in our community are limited. My students are highly motivated to learn when they are placed in charge of their learning environment. With adequate technology, my students will learn about graphing and interpreting data while discovering real-world examples for the use of mathematics.

About my class
