iPads provide students with engaging apps that assist in reading, writing and mathematics skills. Most of my students are working below grade level in all academic areas. iPads would provide opportunities for them to fine-tune some of these skills in a format that children prefer. Including iPads in daily centers will encourage my reluctant readers and writers to complete daily activities that help them make progress. Learning comes easier when they are having fun! My students are successful when they are engaged in the learning process. iPads would ensure they are engaged and having fun with the learning process, while improving much-needed skills.
