Graphing calculators are a great tool for 8th grade teachers to help students get acquainted with the technology they will be using in future math classes. Not only are these the calculators they will be using in high school, but also on important tests like the ACT. These calculators are very expensive, therefore not all students can purchase one for personal use. If we have these at our disposal we can expose students to the basics of the calculators and provide for awesome enrichment opportunities. Our students work too hard to be limited by the technology available to them. It is my job, as their teacher, to reach above and beyond on their behalf!

About my class
