Art helps students understand the world. We help students understand art. Scholastic Art is filled with captivating art history articles and stunning art reproductions. They will give students a hands on guide to inspire them in their own art making and provide me with more tools to pass on to the students. Students not only need to learn how to create meaningful art but also practice reading and comprehension through art history lessons. Art history written at grade level for high school is difficult to find, most are for university students. Incorporating art history and critique within my class will only enhance the students understanding of the world.
