Franklin Woods is a Title One school that serves fifth and sixth grade students in the South-Western area of Columbus. Approximately 90% of my students are from economically disadvantaged families and face trauma in their life every day. To my pleasant surprise, I have noticed that I have a very eager group of readers this year! All of my students are wanting to read newly-released and other popular titles that are not available. My goal is to raise enough money to expand my outdated classroom library. By doing this, students will have the opportunity to experience new and exciting books that cater to their interests.

About my class

Franklin Woods is a Title One school that serves fifth and sixth grade students in the South-Western area of Columbus.
