Research shows that children who can read fluently by the end of 2nd grade will become confident learners in 3rd grade and beyond. By obtaining these literacy materials for my classroom, my 21 students will have new and creative tools to help them become fluent readers. Every child needs the opportunity to learn in their own unique way and this will give me new and different avenues to encourage the love of reading to my students.
