My students are from the heart of Brooklyn, NY. They range from grades sixth through eighth with a wide level of abilities. They are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. My classes are full of unique personalities who are creative, funny, dramatic, and mysterious: These students are amazing individuals that try to find the positive that life offers them even during the worst of times! Our school is in the most wonderful part of Fort Greene Brooklyn in a diverse and vibrant community. It has many points of interest and students are always inquiring about our neighborhood. They are very active and vibrant and are multi-sensory learners.
