Students love to have choice in their learning, and choosing where they learn in my room is a great place to start. Flexible seating has been very successful in my classroom for the past 2 years. I believe that if my students are comfortable, learning becomes easier and more enjoyable for them. The current seating options in my classroom are a culmination of yard sale, Goodwill, and free items I have personally acquired to best meet my students' needs. Due to the lack of durability in these items, my classroom will be at a seating deficit at the start of this school year. The wobble chairs will help my students to focus while allowing for movement and the Surf lap desks will allow for additional comfortable floor seating options. Seating choice has positively affected my students and I hope to continue providing this learning environment in my classroom.
