The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of and competency in STEM. These materials will allow me to incorporate STEM activities into the classroom on a daily basis. With the magnetic building tiles the students can create 2D and 3D shapes. This will allow them to creatively learn physics and architecture. The Brain Flakes also allow them to build and they can use their imagination and creativity to create anything that comes to their minds. STEM encourages students to learn in an enriching, meaningful way. STEM is challenging and includes collaboration skills. Students have the opportunity to work with their peers and problem solve together. Students need to be driven by curiosity and problem solving. These are real life situations that promote lifelong skills. STEM engages the students and makes learning fun and interesting! This is the door to students wanting to become lifelong learners. Not just at school, but at home and in the world around them.
