My Pre-K to 5th grade students are a group of lovely young boys and girls who use art to create and express themselves. We are a Title 1 school and have experienced drastic budget cuts. Many of my students come from economically challenged homes and quite a few are foster care children. In our community, many parents work multiple jobs with long hours and therefore students don't have the opportunity to experience the arts outside of the classroom. It is my passion, my mission, to expose them to as much visual art as I can so they can find fullfillment and joy through art.

About my class
