To get my kids reading, I have selected age appropriate novels to give my students a vast array of books to choose from for independent reading. Moving up from fourth grade to fifth, it’s time to update my classroom library. I need engaging and exciting titles, with a higher reading level to challenge my bigger kids. From popular series like Harry Potter and The Chronicles of Narnia, to the newest Sunshine State Readers for the 2018-2019 school year, I selected books for both elementary and early middle school to meet the needs of students below, on, and above grade level.
