My students live in an area where their parents have just enough money to get from one paycheck to another. Most of my students come from broken homes or from homes where grandparents or other family members are raising them. The students have a love of school because of the stability that comes with going to school. They know what to expect every day that they come to school. My school is a school just like any other school we have walls and a roof, but I think it is more the teachers who make up the school. We make the school a place where the students want to be. It is because of the teachers in the school that students feel stable, safe, and loved. It is also the reason why I love to come to work every day.

About my class
