I have a group of students that have a heart for children with disabilities. As the students began planning their projects, helping students regardless of their challenges, was a common thread. The items that are specified, such as the Bumbo chair, wheels, brackets, and casters are necessary for the creation of a very small but very mobile wheelchair. This projects, Wee Little Wheels, at its core is a stem challenge for the students without boundaries! This project, Wee Little Wheels, will open a whole new world to some of the smallest children among us. A child that is not walking by the age of 16 months is delayed in their mobility. This is unfortunate because this child's brain is ready for them to move, explore, and navigate their world freely at eye level. Please help these students create a wheelchair for just those "Wee Little Children!"
