The children in my Preschool Preparation for Children With Disabilities (PPCD) and Life Skills class can range in ages from three years to fourth grade. They are in a regular public school setting (least-restrictive environment) and are working hard to prepare for the general education classroom. Disabilities such as down's syndrome, hydrocephalus, visual impairment, cognitive challenges, and physical handicaps hinder their ability to learn. A traditional classroom with traditional materials will not sufficiently help them reach their goals. These children love to come to school and love to learn. They greet us with smiles every morning and are excited to tell their parents what they have learned each day. Please donate and know that you have truly blessed a child who comes to school eagar and ready to learn! Thank you!!
