I believe that students learn best when provided choices and when given the chance to learn in a warm, welcoming environment. The more choices we can offer, the more students feel empowered and can take ownership in their learning. Classroom seating is one of the options we can provide for students where they can have the opportunity to learn the way that is most comfortable for them. I encourage students to work on the rug or at their desk depending on what they think is best for them as learners and I would love to provide more options for them.
