Flexible seating options of 5 wobble chairs and 4 flex-space balance balls would allow my students to chose a location in our classroom to complete assignments in Math, Reading, and Writing. Currently, my students have options to sit on the hard floor using a clipboard, at different tables/desks, or sitting under tables using clipboards. When my students are completing their writing assignments, or tests, an increase in scores have occurred when students are able to sit in an area of their choice instead of at a desk or table. This is a huge motivator for me to provide my students with an option to provide them with a more comfortable and effective learning choice in our classroom. My students have voiced their excitement over the possibility to have more comfortable options of flexible seating in our classroom.
