My professional experience with using LEGO in a maker space styled learning lab taught me the depth and complexity of LEGO, and the coding created a challenging environment for all learning styles. The LEGO Simple and Powered Machine Kit along with the Renewable Energy kit and the WeDo 2.0 Core Set for coding will be the foundation of our new maker space. LEGO kits are innovative tools that appear simple to students. These sets are highly effective in setting the stage for inquiry learning and collaborative project based learning. I can hear student voices giggle with glee when they hear it's maker space time! This project is intended to support quality and highly effective learning for my next door neighbors, too. The Media Center and Computer Center will also be able to use the mobile maker space LEGO Kits. It's our pleasure to say thank you in advance. Your friends in a Mountain Classroom funded by the gifts of sweet donors like you send you a virtual hug!
