My greatest passion is instilling a great love of books while teaching young children to read. My children learn best through music, technology and hands-on learning which engages their whole brain. Since my school is a Title 1, high poverty school, partnering with parents on our learning journey is a key to lifetime success for my students. My Kindergarten Learning Safari annually transports 18 young adventurers through an engaging educational journey. Children are eager to explore the world around them. Facilitating kindergartners through their learning experiences takes place through a variety of highly engaging thematic units. Whether we are delving into the world of science, exploring the cultures in far off lands, or diving into a fictitious literary world, I strive to make learning fun and meaningful for my students. Thank you for partnering on this wild ride of ours.
