In my Basic Skills classroom, I work with students in grades first through third that need supplemental support in various academic areas. My goal is to provide my students with a warm and friendly learning environment in which they feel comfortable becoming risk-takers. I strive to meet the individual needs of my students through multifaceted instruction. I believe that it's important to keep students actively engaged in the learning process to foster their independence. My students and I have a special bond, and enjoy our time together. We learn from one another and have fun during the process!
