The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of and competency in history. Students will be researching different time periods in history throughout the year. They need to conduct research for various projects and papers. This research makes history come alive. Students will research the impact of the Reformation on Europe. They will be able to look at the art of the Renaissance. The events leading up to the American Revolution will become more than a list of date when they are able to complete webquests that put them in the position of the Colonists or the British. By implementing this model, my students will begin to see themselves as true historians. We will use these Chromebooks to aide us in the process of becoming life-long writers. Students who are actively engage in their learning actually learn! They are able to gain the skills they need to become productive members of society. They learn to dissect complex text, formulate arguments, and debate issues that face the world today.
