I love incorporating hands-on labs and activities in my chemistry and biomedical science classrooms. It allows students to get up, explore, and experiment...which science is all about! I have seen an increase in excitement of my students willingness to learn when I include these activities in the curriculum. My students come from a variety of different cultures and backgrounds, including students whose first language is not English. Working in teams on labs has helped my students to learn to work well with others, take on leadership roles, and to organize their time appropriately. My students are eager to learn and with your generous contributions they will have the opportunity to use various scientific models and supplies to help them succeed. Thank you and Go Science!
