As an ESOL teacher I have the privilege and honor to work with students that represent countries, cultures, and languages from all over the world. Our ESOL population currently has 186 + students and is always growing. EES is a Title 1 school with the majority of our students living in high poverty. My goal as an ESOL teacher is not only to support my students academically and linguistically but also to embrace the beauty of their diversity with engaging activities to promote cultural awareness and pride.
