Our special needs students have difficulty staying in their seats and staying focused. Bouncy Bands have been used effectively in another classroom for these students. They are able to move their legs and feet to help them stay in their desk and focus on their work. The students have told us they appreciate them. Now it's time to give them Bouncy Bands in my room too. Since they are middle school students they have to change classes during they day, so they don't stay in the same room all the time. By providing them in Math and English, it will help break up their school day since they have Math in the morning and English at the end of the day.
