It's kind of tough to focus on learning and participating when your bottom is sitting on a hard, cold floor. A class rug would enable my students to learn with some level of comfort. It would also allow students to learn about respecting and maintaining personal space. Additionally, the book boxes would allow students to keep their many interactive notebooks and reading books in order. Having 22 students keep their interactive notebooks in small book bins can be both a taxing and time consuming task. Book boxes would allow us to save time all while helping students stay organized as well.
