One way I get my PreK students excited about reading is through books on CD. Children gather around a CD player, settle their headphones over their little ears, open their books, and press "play." Through books on CD, young learners are exposed to rich vocabulary and meaningful stories far above their reading ability. During Center Time, students rotate to the Listening Center to hear books on CD. This is one of their favorite activities! They love the expressive narrators and sound effects. But I only own a few CDs. I need your help adding more books to my listening library.
