Del Sur Elementary isn't just a school it is a community where every teacher strives to build relationships to better every child they come across on campus. For my students, I am their Champion. Rita Pierson says it best, "Every Child Deserves a Champion: an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists they become the best they can possibly be." I am a Kindergarten and First Grade teacher where I am lighting the fire for the love of learning in every one of my student's daily. Giving them the opportunities they may not have outside the classroom. The love for learning doesn't stop when they walk out the classroom door.
