I am so lucky! I teach the kids that are coming to school for the very first time. They are inquisitive and excited to be in Pre-k (now known as UTK). They can be as young as 3 coming into my class and turn 4 and 5 by the end of the year. My students come from a variety of backgrounds. Both of the parents in the household work and need our school to provide both breakfast and lunch to their children. The school is a STEAM school so our approach to learning combines science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. My UTK students are being exposed and learning new skills that will help them succeed in school.
