I am a 6th-grade math teacher in a diverse middle school community where students bring a wide range of strengths and learning needs to the classroom. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where all students feel supported, challenged, and confident in their ability to succeed. In our classroom, students build problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration skills through hands-on activities, small-group instruction, and real-world applications. Many students enter middle school with varying levels of confidence in math, making engaging learning experiences especially important. The resources requested through DonorsChoose will help students actively participate in lessons, practice essential skills, and build confidence as learners while fostering a positive and successful math classroom.
