We have 17 students in our classroom, and the majority are from low income homes with few educational experiences. My students are vibrant, eager to learn, and very curious about the world they live in. Many of my students have never held a writing utensil, seen their name in print, or have never explored the world of print, including reading, writing or drawing. Everyday 17 smiling faces walk through our classroom door, eager to learn, and share their experiences. My goal is to enrich their learning with experiences beyond our neighborhood and classroom. We live in a colorful world. Let's bring this into our classroom.

About my class
